I actually like the display the numbers are very straightforward to see. From my evaluation the instruments are also really correct. One down side would be the clock which is to obtain signals from the atomic clock. I have but to see the icon display that it is receiving the signal. I do have yet another clock that picks up the signal fairly readily in the morning. You van set it manually. It just takes a bit of time to carry out that function as the directions could be much better written. I primarily bought the station for the wind functions which function quote nicely. Even even though it isn't indicated it does calculate heat index as effectively

Good item. This unit has a lot of functions. The cons: Cannot see pretty effectively due to the fact no back light. Batteries do not last long if power goes out. Hard to scroll through

All the sensors worked as soon as they had been powered up...but the wind speed sensor necessary reading the directions. The neighborhood television forecast did not call for rain, but the unit predicted rain that afternoon by early evening it did rain. We got 1.four" according to rain sensor which seemed about ideal. Major unit set up was relatively simple and easy. VHN
