Quick to set up. I mounted the wind sensor on an old antenna mast that was currently in location. The Thermo-hygro sensor should really be mounted someplace where there is no direct sun shinning on it. Otherwise the temperture will not be appropriate (you want to read air temperture and not direct sun temperture. I mounted mine in the patio location. Just after all hardware is mounted, it is fundamental that you put the battery in the Thermo-hygro sensor and the receiver at the very same time and close to each other. The weather station operates fine and I've had no troubles with the electronics.Even so, installation was much more tricky than essential. The wind sensor is supposed to be mounted on a wooden mast, and has a 32 ft cable to connect it to the temperature sensor. Does the manufacturer anticipate users are going to stick a post on their lawn, then bury the cable to run it to wherever the temp sensor is mounted? I elected to mount each the wind and temp sensors to the side of my deck. On the other hand, this left me with 30+ ft of unnecessary cable bound up and hanging off the side of the deck, due to the fact the cable is hardwired to the wind sensor and not removable or replaceable with a shorter cable. It would have been so significantly much better if this was developed with a plug play telephone cable, rather of a tricky-wired a single.

So far the La Crosse Wireless climate center has been good. I was watching what was going on throughout the current northeast blizzard. I was in a position to see the barometric pressure dropping as the storm got closer. There had been wind gusts up to 40 mph and wind chill aspects below zero.
