Can not say sufficient about how much I like this station! It performs specifically as advertised and is particularly simple to install and operate. It appears to have been constructed with good quality components that will need to survive the potential hurricane winds we expect in Florida. It connects easily with the internet (utilizing the not-included link components purchased separately) and it is nice to be able to access the climate "in your backyard" from anyplace you have online connection capability across the planet. People are impressed when I "access" the climate at home applying my iPhone!
As usual, I bought this station from Amazon, Why? Since I know that if it did not meet, or exceed, my expectations it would be returned with no the slightest hassle. Amazon replaced a significant wide-screen Tv last year when I detected a slight black line running by means of the center of the Tv. You had to stand off to the side "to see" the line but that was adequate for me to ask for a replacement. Amazon shipped the new Tv without having even receiving the old 1 back! The old one was picked up at the exact same time the new 1 was delivered. Amazing!
I had a Davis weather station for years and liked it a lot. After about 10 years in a harsh atmosphere it just died. I tried to save a couple of dollars and purchased a station NOT from Davis - a $150 system that lasted about 18 months and never worked well. This new Davis system is very properly constructed and very correct. If you're a climate buff...it's worth spending the money for a quality process.
