What I was seeking for was a easy and low-cost instrument that could provide some standard climate data, particularly the barometric pressure (which is indicative of advancing climate systems). Instead of the barometric pressure, you get the little cloud-or-whatever-it-is icon in the leading proper, that getting the device's interpretation of pressure information (which is does not show you). The only way to tell if a barometer is correct is to check it against identified accurate ones, more than a couple of days at minimum. Because this is not possible on this device, essentially you happen to be just hoping that the tiny icon in the leading perfect is somehow frequently precise.It's a toy, and I need to have identified far better than to purchase a cheap item and expect it to behave even slightly like a high quality instrument.If you just want anything that will tell you the temperature, humidity, and time, I suppose this is good. Although a ninety nine cent drugstore version you can hang on your wall will do the same factor in that regard. The additional revenue you are spending is going towards the gee-I-hope-it-works-even-though-there is-no-way-to-check prediction icon.If you need actual weather information, move along.

I worried that this buy may well be a waste of capital, but boy was I incorrect. It was a huge surprise just seeing how effectively it worked. It shows the time, date, temperature, immediate-future climate prediction (wherever you might be) and also includes an alarm. My family has enjoyed employing it through travel and camping trips, ballgames, and at other outdoor activities where a television, net, and/or cell telephone services might not be readily readily available. I am seriously thinking about making extra purchases to give as gifts.
