This is an "anonymous" item no manufacturer given, no website, no support. The outdoor thermometer on mine is at least 6 degrees higher than what any other thermometer measures, but there is no way to calibrate it, no way to change it. A thermometer that cannot tell you the temperature is not incredibly useful.

disappointed - there is NO registration for updates - No support. I guess you get what you pay for. The value was low. The unit for the most part does appear to perform ok. I have to take the batteries out, about once a week, to reset the unit so it will perform with my computor. Not confident if the rain gauge is working proper, I do not assume I will ever invest in this brand yet again.

I purchased this item for about $80. Installation set up was straightforward. It does what it promises to do. Thinking of the cost, I am impressed with what it does. About as soon as every single two-three days I obtain an error message about a brief loss of speak to among sensor receiving unit. This might be due to the fact that I have 1 other wireless temperature device outside which may well lead to interference. Yet, loss of contact is really brief and has created minimal difference in terms of amount of data loss. Based upon suggestions from a different reviewer, I installed a freeware program (Cumulus) from Sandaysoft, rather than the enclosed computer software. This software program functions well with this unit and provides a lot of options for working with the information. The contrast on the LCD display unit is a tiny weak, but I seldom look at the LCD unit, preferring to appear at the Cumulus software package display on the monitor.
